ABOUT DEPARTMENT

  • Electronics and Communication domain conceptualize research, design, develop and test electronic equipment, communications, and broadcast systems. ECE is the application of science and mathematics to practical problems in the field of electronics and communications. The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) has consistently maintained an exemplary academic record. The greatest asset of the department is its highly motivated and learned faculty members. The available diversity of expertise of the faculty prepares the students to work in a global multicultural environment. The College offers UG Course ECE.

VISION

  • ECE department envisions developing innovative, ethical electronics professionals through excellence in teaching and training, technically competent women engineers who can address the growing challenges in the modern world with a keen sense of social responsibility.

MISSION

  • Provide good ambience and impart high quality technical education to individuals with the most recent advancements in electronics and communication engineering to face real time problems.
  • Acquire lifelong learning skills that will enable individuals to be flexible and adaptable to changes in society, technology, environment, and employment requirements.
  • Provide training to bridge the gap between industry and academia.
  • Cultivate interpersonal skills with moral values and ethics.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs)

  • PEO-I: Graduates shall have a strong foundation in Electronics and Communication Engineering along with advanced knowledge of contemporary technologies.
  • PEO II: Graduates will shoulder responsibilities in their chosen careers including supportive roles in multidisciplinary teams.
  • PEO III: Graduates shall exhibit professional and ethical attitudes with continuous enhancement of technical expertise for solving engineering issues in a broader social context.

PROGRAM-SPECIFIC OUTCOMES-B.Tech(ECE)

  • PSO1: Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and understanding of basic principles of mathematics, science, electronic devices, networks, and signal processing procedures in simulation, modeling, and describing the behavior of analog and digital electronic systems.
  • PSO2: Ability to work with self-confidence independently or in a team and able to analyze, synthesize, design, and test electronic components of a system or sub-system.
