Skill development Training

The scope of Skill Development  is to implement and to provide the required planning directions for the current ongoing skilling activities and to explore the new and future skilling for the benefit of students, faculty, and non-teaching staff. Some of the  points and objectives of Skill  Development Division are listed, but not limited to or with suggestive modifications.

Equipping the students with relevant and conceptualized  professional skills and guiding them toward a bright future and career all around the world with the values of sincerity, hard work and justice.

To achieve 100% placements for students through dedication, attitude and complete involvement is our mission.

Objectives

  •  1.To ensure overall development of students with the help and support of appropriate skilling methods and modes.
  •  2.To achieve and to target the higher and better pay package placements for students in core and allied industries/companies
  •  3.To prepare the students to plan their career in the directions of entrepreneurship, career advancement, and higher skill employability

List of skilling centers

Training provided

  • Comprehensive Placement Training is a full semester rigorous placement-training program. This training constitutes the following modules:

 

Verbal ability

  • Training on Basic Grammar, Advanced Grammar, Critical Reading along with Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary based topics, and Writing Skills

                     

Soft Skills

  • SWOT analysis and to develop Intrapersonal and Interpersonal Skills besides resume preparation. Then, students will be given an opportunity to participate in mock Group Discussions. Finally, Mock Interviews will be conducted. At every phase, students receive inputs and feedback from their respective faculty. This focussed training will make students industry-ready.

                   

Quantitative Aptitude

  • Quantitative Aptitude measures the ability of an individual to solve numerical and mathematical problems related to real life situations. It enables the students to develop problem-solving skills by understanding, analysing, and applying the skills imparted by the faculty to find possible solutions. Quantitative Aptitude is  required for both higher studies and Campus Placements.

  • To develop problem solving skill helps the student to build professional career

Coding Ability

  • To make student industry- ready At every phase, students receive inputs and feedback from their respective faculty.

                   

Communication and Soft skills

  • The Communication and Soft Skills Department has been instituted for providing comprehensive training to students aspiring for various, national, and multinational organizations that recruit fresh talent through campus, off campus drives.
  • Different activities which include Mock interviews, Written Tests on skill analysis, Group Discussions, are arranged as per the requirements of the recruiting organizations.

Assessment

  • 1.Students are encouraged to take assessment tests from websites like www.hackerrank.com, www.codechef.com, www.codeforces.com etc.
  • 2.In addition to the classroom tests, students need to take online tests on Cocubes, Amcat, Reference Globe, E-box, Examly, and E-litmus periodically.
  • 3.Evaluation is done on regular basis and an assessment report of the students is shared
  • 4.Continuous monitoring of students’ progress and achievements
  • 5.Students who are unable to cope with the placement tests are given special attention to improve their performance.
  • 6.The internal assessment test standards are on par with the third parties, which conduct written tests for the corporates.
  • 7.Making availability of the new patterns and models in the blog as per industry trends
